THE CHRONICLES OF KUPCAKEKUSH
I started the chronicles of @kupcakekush instagram page in 2012 while I was smoking a blunt in my car. The page was and always has been a dedicated space for my "weed art". It's been a place where I share some of my favorite high adventures with other highly inspired people.
Over the years my interest in keeping up the actual posts on the @kupcakekush instagram has dwindled, but my love for adventure, creating art, and good marijuana has continued to grow. Those three things have always made me the happiest, and connecting with other high minded people through those shared interests has been dope af!
During the Covid craziness of 2020 I had to sit my ass down more than I had ever before, and from the many smoke sessions on my couch, the idea for The Kupcakekush Gift Shop was born. The Gift Shop is a creative outlet for me. It's a way for me to share the chronicles of @kupcakekush in an fresh way that inspires me. It's a deeper look into my high mind and the things I love. It's a piece of my physical experience, energy collected from a moment in time, a manifestation of my imagination, that you can hold in your hands. Wether it's a vintage ash tray I picked up on one of my adventures then remixed, or some cool shit I designed or made by hand, all of the items in my gift shop are souvenirs from some of my favorite moments in life.
I read somewhere once that the entire meaning of being a human can be found in the process of creation. Being human is an opportunity to create physical things beyond the metaphysical realm. And for me, I don't want to just create digital memories that tell a limited virtual story of who I am. I want to create tangible objects full of magic and highly inspired energy that will live on beyond my own physical and digital existence.
I want people to feel the wonder and adventure in my creations, like little treasures left behind from a magical moment in time...and I want those treasures to be discovered and rediscovered by anyone who's frequency naturally draws them to mine.
